SO SO SO ready for True Blood tonight! I was searching for this picture when I came across the one I posted a moment ago. Not sure what inspired this one back in 2009, but I always dug it. Seemed appropriate for tonight.
There’s going to be a free preview of HBO and Cinemax on DirecTV June 8-11 to promote the return of True Blood.
I think it includes DishTV as well.

It happens when you marathon your way through 36 straight hours of True Blood.
This is on my list, after True Blood season 3 (which I’m on ep 3 of right now). I will do TB Season 4 after. Still need to fit in my reading.

Season 2, done. I’m totes going to get season 3 on Monday.
Season 4 will be tricky, but doable.
Kickin’ back before dinner & company. Picked up True Blood season 2 at the library, dropped off season 1. I forgot to watch the rest of Project Runway: All-Stars last night, so I’m gaying out right now. (Taken with instagram)

So Far, So Pleased
True Blood is proving to be interesting, thus far. I’m a mere two episodes in, but I plan to watch at least two more tonight after dinner. It’s still amazing to see Anna Paquin all grown and shit. I still think of her in The Piano (which was an amazing film that I still enjoy greatly).
My local library has season 2 and 3, in full (I had to call out for season 1), so I think by the end of the weekend, I might be putting season 2 on hold.
Shameless is really aggressive this season. I don’t know how closely they’re following the UK series at this point (season 1 was a mirror image), but it’s good, especially with the not-so-casual return of Steve/Jimmy Lisham (Justin Chatwin - UNF).
Californication is full of the usual “I don’t give a fuck” attitude by Hank, the ever-enduring ex-wife and daughter, & the “I wanna hit triple digits” publisher/friend of Hank’s. Sucker punches, fucking, alcohol - the usual.
